The uses of aromatherapy essential oils are numerous and Lemon Myrtle essential oil is undoubtedly one of the most versatile. Its clean, crisp lemon fragrance is superior to that of other citrus, even lemon, due to its very high citral content. The citral content of Lemon Myrtle, typically greater than 90%, is also why it is such an excellent antibacterial, antifungal and germicidal, as well as a natural preservative. By using Lemon Myrtle essential oil regularly in your home, not only will it smell fresh and be more hygienic, your family can enjoy a reduction in the incidence of coughs, colds and sinus problems.
