Refreshed products are manufactured under
GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) in a
licenced manufacturing facility.
We insist on sourcing only the finest and
safest, botanical and naturally derived
ingredients. All raw materials that are used
have been quarantined and tested before
product manufacture.
Every product we manufacture is batch
controlled. Micro-biological tests for bacteria,
moulds and yeasts are carried out during
and after production. The products are then
subjected to quality controls for pH,
viscosity, aroma and product stability.
Not until all the testing is satisfied do we
release our products to the market.
Worldwide Standards
In 2001 the Standards Association of Australia developed a set of standards for Lemon Myrtle essential oil; this was published as Australian Standard 4941-2001 “Oil of Backhousia citriodora, Citral type (Lemon Myrtle oil)”.
This Australian standard was created to ensure an excellent and consistent quality of Lemon Myrtle essential oil.
Refreshed has been working along with a select number of committed producers to develop an even higher standard of Lemon Myrtle essential oil than the Australian Standard 4941-2001. This superior standard is used by Refreshed Lemon Myrtle when sourcing their premium quality essential oil which contains significantly higher levels of citral along with an essential mix of trace citrals - vital in a true quality Lemon Myrtle essential oil.
